”love your home” was a birthday present from Tim a few years ago. It’s an interior design book that explores the idea of what is the “modern” home. It’s full of design tips, product and quotes from different people about how they see their home. It’s one of those books that you can pick up every so often and just flip through and read for inspiration — regardless of the project you are working on. (The book was actually the inspiration for the concept of my personal site). I especially love the art direction — the entire book almost has a nostaglic feel to it — it’s printed on matte paper which gives everything a very soft inviting feel and the photography has that colorized, high contrast look you would see in photos from when you were a kid. It’s a keeper for my bookshelf.
