Some of our latest work! MissionStaff, a long-standing client, recently had a couple new hires AND remodeled their office — which I was able to go in and photograph. The remodel turned out so amazing. Several years ago, Tim and I rebranded the company and now since the remodel their office reflects their brand and the great culture of the company. Congrats to MissionStaff and thanks to Zoe and Mike for being so much fun to photograph!

For the past two months I have been working on a special little project. I had access to a huge space in town for just a few months and decided that it would be a perfect pop-up shop location just in time for the holidays. My partner and I, brought in goods as well as a curated group of  9+ local designers and collectors. The plan was to have a few open house events that included music, refreshments, ice cream from Zsa’s Gourmet Ice Cream truck and anything else that we thought might be fun and different. Our first open house was a few weeks ago and was a huge success. The events are so fun — if I could, I would have one every week! This Sunday we will be having another party which will include John Scioli, owner and proprietor of John’s Old School New Skool Barber Shop! Yep- you will be able to shop and get a haircut and a shave. Not to mention eat ice cream, listen to music and eat hot waffles.

The shop itself, is full of fun things and the inventory changes constantly! The rotation of items can be exhausting but it’s super fun recreating the space almost every other day. It’s been a crazy ride and I have definitely learned a lot. I love creating a space that inspires and makes people happy, meeting so many new folks, and being inspired by the amazing designers that are part of the shop! Not to mention building a brand that will hopefully continue to grow. Take a look and if you are in Chestnut Hill stop by and see me. To learn more check out the Nomad site, facebook page and twitter. We will at this location until February 12th. Stay tuned!

Yep, I jumped on the band wagon and started a food blog. It’s called Middle Diner. Middle Diner was the name of the diner that my grandparents owned and after they retired my parents took over up until I was in college. I grew up in the diner and to this day my family is still part of the food industry.  I don’t think I will ever own any sort of eating establishment but if I did I would call it Middle Diner and the food featured on the blog would be on the menu.

Between family, work and a few other projects that I have going on, the plan for Middle Diner is to try and post once a month. We’ll see – for awhile, it might turn into every other month. Check it out and stay tuned.
